This Privacy Policy explains how ListPilot collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website, Chrome extension, and related services (the “Service”).
Information We Collect
- Account and contact data: email address and license status.
- Billing data: payment details are handled by Stripe. We do not store card numbers.
- Seller profile data: seller name, phone number, and location that you enter into the extension.
- Vehicle and page data: vehicle details, image URLs, and related page content from dealer inventory pages that you choose to process with the Service.
- Usage data: basic diagnostics to keep the Service running (e.g., error logs).
- Device and trial usage data: a generated device identifier, subscription status, trial eligibility, and the number of free listings used through the Service during a trial.
What We Do Not Collect
We do not collect or store your Facebook username or password. You remain logged in to Facebook in your own browser session, and ListPilot works within that active session to fill listings.
How We Use Information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
- To verify subscription status and licensing.
- To extract vehicle information and prepare Facebook Marketplace listings at your direction.
- To generate or improve AI-assisted listing text and fallback vehicle extraction when those features are used.
- To enforce trial limits, prevent duplicate trial use, and manage billing state.
- To communicate with you about support and service updates.
How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers required to operate the Service, such as:
- Stripe for payment processing.
- Cloudflare for hosting and infrastructure.
- OpenAI for AI description generation and AI-assisted vehicle data fallback.
Browser and Website Data
ListPilot accesses dealer inventory pages only when you use the extension on those pages and grant the requested site permission. The extension uses that page data to extract vehicle details, collect vehicle photo URLs, and help you build a Marketplace listing. The extension also opens Facebook Marketplace pages at your direction to assist with listing creation in your active browser session.
Data Retention
We keep account and license records for as long as needed to provide the Service and meet legal obligations. You can request deletion by contacting support.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your data. No system is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Third‑Party Websites
The Service interacts with third‑party websites (e.g., Facebook Marketplace and dealer sites). Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
Children’s Privacy
The Service is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
